We also wanted to make a high-performance natural building that blended into the existing neighbourhood with an appealing aesthetic that combines modern sensibility with historical precedent. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the results!
Prefabricated straw bale wall panels
Energy efficient building enclosure, achieving airtightness and avoiding thermal bridges
Grid-tied PV system covers all utility costs and provides income
Natural and non-toxic plasters and finishes used throughout
Heat pump and ducted energy recovery ventilation
